The Fifth International Conference Women and the Holocaust

 
 

 

The Fifth International Conference Women and the Holocaust will focus on the topic: Creativity and Arts in the Holocaust – A Gender Perspective.

 

The Conference will include lectures, testimonies, workshops, exhibition visits and events that integrate with the character and special activities of each of the institutes.

 

The conference will address a wide variety of topics related to a wide range of topics related to creativity and works of art before, during and after the holocaust, beyond boundaries of nationality, religion and ethnicity. The subjects will be examined from a critical and gendered perspective.

 

The Conference Women and the Holocaust was established in 2002 as a joint initiative of Beit Berl Academic College, Beit Terezin and Beit Lohamei Haghetaot.

 

Conference Dates

Monday, October 26th at Beit Berl Academic College

Tuesday, October 27th at Beit Terezin

Wednesday, October 28st at Beit Lohamei Haghetaot

 

Target Audience

The conference is intended for researchers, educators, teachers, artists, survivors and future generations, students, women's organizations, Holocaust commemoration institutes, child and adolescent rights institutes and the general public.
