פרופ' נורית בוכוייץ היא מרצה, בעלת תואר דוקטור בספרות כללית ועברית מאוניברסיטת תל אביב. חיבור הדוקטורט יצא לאור כספר רשות מעבר: חילופי נורמות, מאיר ויזלטיר ושירת שנות השישים (הקיבוץ המאוחד 2008). פרופ' בוכוייץ בעלת תעודה להוראת הספרות מבית הספר לחינוך באוניברסיטת תל אביב. תחומי התמחותה הם פוסטמודרניזם – פואטיקה ותיאוריה, פוסט-הומניזם ורומן המאה העשרים ואחת, שירה עברית בתר-מודרניסטית, הפואטיקה של מאיר ויזלטיר והפואטיקה של מישל וולבק.

פרופ' נורית בוכוייץ עמדה בראש החוג לספרות בשנים 2005 – 2013 ומכהנת כדקאן הפקולטה לחברה וקהילה משנת 2015. מרצה אורחת ב Ludwigsburg Pedagogical University, גרמניה וב Krakow Pedagogical University, פולין.
