Teaching and Research Fields

Dr. Gepner-Goldstien is involved in implementing and managing training for senior staff in the field of systemic thinking, including application, in the development of approaches, and in planning and leading thinking and learning processes by means of simulation games, exercises, and experiences. Her focus is on the development of strategic and systemic knowledge in national learning systems.

She retired from the IDF with the rank of colonel after 29 years’ service, after a career that included senior command positions, managing systems during periods of change, and representing and developing military cooperation on the international level. Among other positions, she commanded the No. 12 Training Base, was part of the senior command team at the Israel National Defense College, and served as the IDF representative to NATO and as defense attaché in the Netherlands and Belgium.
