Oren Eliav

Born in 1975, Israel. Eliav studied at The Cooper Union, New York (2003), BFA cum laude, Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem (2004) and MFA, Bezalel Academy of Arts, Tel Aviv (2009). Presented solo exhibitions at the Israel Museum, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv Museum; Ashdod Art Museum; Suzanne Tarasieve Gallery, Paris; Building Gallery, Milan, Braverman Gallery, Tel Aviv; Givon Art Gallery, Tel Aviv. Participated in various group exhibitions, including the Liverpool Biennial, the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, Venice, the Pratt Institute, New York, the Haifa Museum, the Mishkan Museum of Art, Ein Harod, the Bat Yam Museum of Art, the Genia Schreiber University Art Gallery and more. Teaches at the Shenkar Multidisciplinary Art School. 

Won the Minister of Culture Award 2017, the Rappaport Award for Young Artist, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art 2010, the Young Artist Award from the Ministry of Education and Culture, the America Israel Award and the Bezalel Fine Arts Award. Won a residence scholarship at the Cite Internationale des Arts, Paris; Schir-Art Concepts Berlin Residency and the Leipzig International Art Program (LIA).

His works are in the collection of the Israel Museum, Jerusalem; Rebaundengo Sandretto Re Foundation, Italy; Drake Collection, The Netherlands, Tel Aviv Museum of Art Collection, Tony Podesta Washington DC Collection; C-Collection, Switzerland; and many private collections in Israel and around the world.
