Shahar Yahalom

​Shahar Yahalom was born in Kibbutz Ein Dor (1980), and lives and works in Tel Aviv. She has an MFA from Columbia University, New York (2014) and a B.Ed in art from the Faculty of Arts - Hamidrasha, Beit Berl College (2006). 

Exhibited solo exhibitions at GarageLab Gallery, Düsseldorf (Germany); Odile Ouizeman Gallery, Paris; Culturescapes, Basel (Switzerland); the Tel Aviv Museum; Noga Gallery for Contemporary Art, Tel Aviv and the Cooperative Gallery at Kibbutz Cabri. She has also exhibited in numerous group exhibitions in Israel and around the world, including Void Gallery, Derry (Ireland); Zabladowicz Collection, London; The Armory Show, New York; Neiman Gallery, New York; Insideout Musem, Beijing; Aran Cravey Gallery, Los Angeles; Rutgers Gallery, New Jersey; Petah Tikva Museum of Art; Tel Aviv Museum; Herzliya Museum; Ralli Museum (Caesarea); Printing Workshops, Jerusalem and the Artists' House, Jerusalem. 

Shahar Yahalom is the winner of the Encouragement of Art Award for 2018, the Ministry of Culture and Sports Award for Young Artist for 2012, the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship (2006), an Excellence Scholarship from Beit Berl College (2006) and participated in the Gottesdiener Award candidates' exhibition in 2011. 

Yahalom participates in the Artport Residency Program for 2020-21, and has participated in residency programs around the world, including the Bronner Residency Program, Düsseldorf; Sharpe-Wallentas Studio Program, New York; A-Z West, California; The Curfew Tower, Ireland.
