Irina Chernetsky, Dr.

Dr. Irina Chernetsky is a scholar of Renaissance art and architecture and a lecturer in the History of Art Department at Tel Aviv University, the Midrasha – Faculty of Arts at Beit Berl College, and the Schechter Institute. She graduated and earned her PhD from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Among her publications are the book, The Mythological Origins of Renaissance Florence: The City as New Athens, Rome, and Jerusalem, published by the Cambridge University Press in 2022, and several articles, among them:
