Yoav Kosh
Over the past forty years, Yoav Kosh has been active as a cinematographer, lecturer and filmmaker and has filmed dozens of feature films, television series, and documentaries, including: Life According to Agfa (directed by Assi Dayan), Avanti Popolo (directed by Rafi Bukai), Lovesick on Nana street (directed by Savi Gabizon), Shuru (directed by Savi Gabizon), Imaginary Autobiography (directed by Michal Bat Adam), A Thousand and one Wives (directed by Michal Bat Adam), Lick the Strawberry (directed by Uri Barbash), Hila (directed by Michal Bat Adam), The Inheritance (directed by Amnon Rubinstein), 11’09’01-September 11 (directed by Amos Gitai), The Flying Camel (directed by Rami Naaman), The Bourgeois (directed by Eitan Tzur), Aaron Cohen’s Debt (directed by Amalia Margolin), Shuli’s Fiance (directed by Doron Tzabari), A frame story of 10 years of art in Israel (directed by Ronit Weiss-Berkowitz).
Yoav received awards of excellence from the Israeli Film Academy, the Haifa International Film Festival, and more. In 2024, received the Lifetime Achievement Award for a Veteran Artist from the Ministry of Culture and Sport.
Lecturer in the Department of Cinematography at the Midrasha for the last twenty years.
