פרופ' בן-רפאל גלנטי, מחזיקת הקתדרה לחקר תנועת העבודה ולימודה על שם ברל כצנלסון. חוקרת דמוקרטיות לא-מערביות ובעיקר את המקרים של יפן וישראל. בעלת תואר דוקטור מן האוניברסיטה העברית ותואר ראשון ושני מאוניברסיטת תל-אביב. בעבר חוקרת אורחת באוניברסיטת טוקיו כעמיתת קרן גנור, משתלמת בתר-דוקטורנטית באוניברסיטת וואסדה (Waseda) שבטוקיו כעמיתת קרן יפן (Japan Foundation), מרצה אורחת באוניברסיטה הפדגוגית של קראקוב, אוניברסיטת דושישה, הוזמנה כמרצה אורחת במעמד פרופ' חבר לאוניברסיטת אוסקה. יו"ר האגודה הישראלית ללימודי יפן (2018-21). במכללה שימשה ראש המרכז למחקר חינוכי-חברתי (2012 - 2017), ראש החוג למדעי החברה ואזרחות (2006 - 2012), מרכזת לימודי דמוקרטיה ושוויון (2003 - 2012).
