תחומי הוראה, מחקר ועשייה

​ד"ר דוד הדר הנו מרצה בתחום הספרות האנגלית והאמריקאית ומלמד קורסים כגון מבוא לספרות אנגלית, מבוא לניתוח פרוזה, ספרות מינורית וסמינריון, הנעורים בראי הספרות האמריקאית. הוא התמחה בספרות אמריקאית במסגרת לימודי דוקטור באוניברסיטה העברית והיה עמית פוסטדוקטורט באוניברסיטה הפתוחה ובאוניברסיטה החופשית של ברלין.  ספרו על ספרות יהודית אמריקאית עתיד להתפרסם ב-2020 בהוצאת בלומסברי. ד"ר הדר עוסק כעת בפרויקט חדש על הקשר בין אוטופיקטשן (רומנים בהם הגיבור חולק את שמו עם הסופר)  ואידאולוגיות של עבודה ויצירתיות.
